**What You’ll Be Doing:**
* Troubleshooting PLC and HMI code.
* Diagnosing and resolving automation and electrical control issues.
* Calibrating instrumentation including pressure sensors, thermocouples and load cells.
* Analyzing automation system logs to identify performance anomalies.
* Troubleshooting, repairing, and installing instrumentation; transmitters, control valves, switches, breakers, starters, relays, and VFD.
* Communicating effectively and respectfully with all team members and contractors.
* Revising electrical drawings using Computer Aided Design (CAD) tools.
* Supporting the engineering and operations departments with the department initiatives and goals.
* Interacting closely with Automation Engineers and Electrical Technicians to troubleshoot electrical issues in a control panel.
* Expected to be self\-motivated and provide technical solutions to a wide range of problems under general supervision.
* Performing preventative maintenance (PM) on all industrial production equipment such as checking functionality of all input devices and replacing if necessary.
* Troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems and components and return to serviceability.
* Working in accordance with company policies and procedures.
* Safely performing work in accordance with plant LOTO procedures, and local electrical codes.


**We are looking for someone who:**
* Has minimum of 5 years’ experience.
* Has experience with Allen Bradley and Siemens PLCs.
* Has experience in control wiring and specification.
* Has the ability to read electrical drawings and work from schematics.
* Has experience working with low and high voltage equipment: 24, DC and AC, 120, 208, 277, and 480 volts.
* Has 2 years of maintenance and troubleshooting experience. (Oil and gas or plant and manufacturing industry preferred).
* Has a knowledge of PLC I/O and analog.
* Demonstrate knowledge of occupational hazards, company and customer safety rules.
* Experience with Computer Aided Design (CAD) software, preferably AutoCad Electrical.
* Must be dependable, highly motivated, self\-directed
* Experience with data analysis and use of tools such as Excel
* Computer proficiency with the ability to rapidly learn and adapt to new software applications across diverse platforms.




**Additionally:**
* Has a strong eye for safety and attention to detail.
* Demonstrates professionalism, positive attitude, and the ability to work as a team.
* Shows a willingness to adapt and make changes and come up with creative solutions.
* Is able to move up to 50lbs and able to bend, crouch, walk, and stand for long periods of time.
