Job Description

**Job Summary**
We are seeking a dynamic and detail\-oriented Project Engineer to join our construction management team. In this role, you will be instrumental in supporting project execution from inception to completion, ensuring that all phases adhere to schedule, budget, and quality standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to large\-scale projects and gain experience across multiple disciplines for both oil \& gas pipeline and facilities construction.

**Duties**

* Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to develop high\-quality detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 and other construction management software
* Support construction activities by resolving technical issues and clarifying drawings and specifications as required
* Assist with RFIs (Requests for Information), submittals, and plan updates
* Monitor project progress through site visits, tracking milestones and updating schedules accordingly
* Support project management in cost control, change order processing, and contract administration
* Facilitate effective communication among engineers, contractors, and clients to resolve issues promptly
* Maintain meticulous records of project documentation, including schedules, reports, and correspondence
* Assist in implementation and maintenance of the project Quality Management Plan
* Support inspection activities, test documentation, and turnover packages
* Track non‑conformances and corrective actions

**Qualifications**

*Required*

* Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
* 1\-5 years of experience in engineering or oil and gas construction
* Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively
* Effective communication skills for liaising with diverse teams across multiple projects
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
* Strong (above\-average) organizational, communication, and problem‑solving skills
* Ability to work in field and office environments

*Preferred*

* Understanding of construction workflows, drawings, and specifications
* Experience with project scheduling software (Primavera P6, MS Project)
* Familiarity with project controls, cost tracking, and reporting
* Experience supporting QA/QC programs in construction
* Knowledge of pipeline construction, facility construction, or both

**Location / Travel**

* Combination of office (Houston\-based) and field work on active construction sites
* May require travel to project sites and extended hours during critical project phases
* Estimated up to 25% travel
