Role Overview
We are seeking a Data Scientist specializing in Computer Vision and Machine Learning to design train optimize and deploy YOLObased object detection models for realworld video and image analytics use cases The role focuses on productiongrade CV models performance optimization and close collaboration with engineering and domain teams
Key Responsibilities
Computer Vision Model Development
Design train and finetune YOLO models YOLOv5 YOLOv7 YOLOv8 for
Object detection
Defect detection
Intrusion and safety monitoring
Asset and equipment recognition
Develop CV pipelines for image and video analytics
Perform data preprocessing augmentation and annotation strategy design
Evaluate models using precision recall mAP and latency metrics
ML Engineering Deployment
Optimize models for edge and cloud deployment
Convert and deploy models using
ONNX TensorRT OpenVINO as applicable
Collaborate with platform teams to integrate models into production systems
Implement inference pipelines with REST or streaming interfaces
Data Experimentation
Work with largescale image and video datasets
Design experiments for model comparison and performance improvement
Handle class imbalance noisy labels and realworld data variability
Continuously improve model robustness under different lighting weather and camera angles
Collaboration Domain Integration
Work closely with
Data engineers
CVAI platform engineers
Domain experts industrial safety oil gas etc
Translate business and operational problems into ML solutions
Document models assumptions and limitations
Required Skills Qualifications
Core Technical Skills
Strong experience in Computer Vision and Deep Learning
Handson expertise with YOLObased object detection models
Proficiency in Python
Experience with
PyTorch preferred or TensorFlow
OpenCV
NumPy Pandas
Solid understanding of CNN architectures and detection pipelines
ML MLOps
Experience with model versioning experiment tracking and reproducibility
Familiarity with MLOps tools and workflows
Experience deploying models to production edge or cloud
