CAD Drafter (Civil Engineering) – Entry to Mid-Level (Katy)
Job Description
**AWM Engineering** is seeking a motivated CAD Drafter to join our growing team in Katy, TX. This role will support the design and production of construction documents for a variety of civil engineering projects. We specialize in civil engineering design services, serving both residential and commercial developments.
**Key Responsibilities:**
\- Prepare civil engineering plans (grading, drainage, utilities)
\- Modify and update AutoCAD drawings
\- Assist engineers with plan production
\- Coordinate revisions with project managers
\- Maintain drawing standards and file organization
**Qualifications:**
\- 1–2 years civil drafting experience, entry level are welcomed.
\- Basic understanding of civil engineering plans preferred
\- Proficient in AutoCAD \& Civil 3D preferred
\- Experience with site development projects
\- Strong attention to detail
\- Ability to meet deadlines
Pay: $15\.00 \- $16\.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
