**Job Overview:**

The Pipe Welders is an expert craftsperson (SME) focused exclusively on welding high\-alloy materials, critical pressure components, or components requiring specialized processes and zero\-defect quality (e.g., X\-ray quality).

Our ingenuity fuels daily life. Together, we’ve forged some of the most trusted partnerships across the energy value chain to make what was once just an idea a reality: laying subsea infrastructure thousands of feet below sea level, installing platforms hundreds of miles from shore, using our expertise to design and build offshore wind infrastructure, and reshaping the onshore landscape to deliver the energy products the world needs safely and sustainably.

For more than 100 years, we've been making the impossible possible. Today, we're driving the energy transition with more than 30,000 of the brightest minds across 54 countries.

**Key Tasks and Responsibility:**

* Execute zero\-defect, code\-compliant welds on exotic/high\-alloy materials (e.g.,Chrome\-Moly, Stainless Steel, Duplex, Titanium).
* Lead the setup and management of purging systems, pre\-heat/post\-weld heat treatment (PWHT), and cleanliness protocols for sensitive materials.
* Work directly with Welding Engineers and QC to qualify and perform welds under highly restrictive and precise Weld Procedure Specifications (WPS).
* Perform intricate manual or machine high\-purity GTAW on small\-bore pipe or vessel repairs.
* Maintain specialized consumables, ensuring strict control over storage and handling to prevent contamination.

**Essential Qualifications and Education:**

* Minimum 3 years of industrial construction/maintenance industry experience.
* Multiple advanced certifications (or ability to certify) in processes for exotic/high\-alloy materials.
* Expert knowledge of advanced welding metallurgy and quality control standards.
* Demonstrated ability to perform welding that consistently meets 100% radiographic or ultrasonic examination standards.
* Vocational training or Associates Degree in Welding Technology or Fabrication.
* Experience using mechanized or orbital welding equipment.
* Knowledge of Positive Material Identification (PMI) procedures for alloy verification.
Prior experience in vessel fabrication, exchanger repair, or boiler work.
