We are hiring! We are working with a multinational pipeline and energy client that is growing and adding an Electrical Engineer to their team.
* Pay Rate: TX \- $77\.00\-$81\.00/hour / M \- $78\.00\-$83\.00/hr (W2\)
* Work Type: Hybrid
* Location: Houston, TX or Duluth, MN
* Duration: 1 Year
**Job Overview:**
Electrical Engineer is responsible for overseeing the design of liquids pump station facilities for expansion and maintenance capital projects executed by third\-party engineering firms. Ensures all design deliverables comply with client standards, industry regulations, and project req uirements while maintaining alignment with budget and schedule. Collaborates with cross\-functional teams including Project Execution, Operations, and Shared Services to support successful project delivery.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Manage third\-party engineering consultants to ensure design deliverables meet quality standards, timelines, and budget requirements
* Ensure all pump station facility designs comply with applicable regulations, industry codes, and client standards
* Design electrical components and interconnections for facility systems
* Review and approve engineering deliverables including drawings, technical reports, and material lists
* Participate in design review meetings with engineering firms, project managers, operations, and construction teams to address scope, performance expectations, and constructability
* Review vendor quotations, conduct technical evaluations, and recommend equipment and material selections based on technical merit, cost, and delivery timelines
* Identify, document, and communicate lessons learned and quality incidents across projects
* Support departmental initiatives and continuous improvement efforts as needed
**Qualifications:**
* Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
* Minimum of 4 years of relevant industry experience
* Ability to work independently while managing multiple projects and competing priorities
* Strong problem\-solving skills using established standards, adaptations, and prior experience
* Effective communication skills with the ability to convey technical information to both technical and non\-technical stakeholders
**Working Conditions:**
* Majority of work is office\-based, collaborating with multiple project teams
* Regular field involvement for project scoping, procurement support, construction, and commissioning activities
* Work involves managing time\-sensitive deliverables
* Requires strong computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office applications
