**POSITION SUMMARY**

This hybrid role serves in a combined sales and technical engineering support role for oil and gas pressure control and flow control equipment. This position works directly with customers, outside sales representatives, engineering, manufacturing, and quality to review requirements, recommend equipment, prepare quotations, and support order execution. The role requires working knowledge of API 6A, API 16A, API 16C, and API\-17D products such as manifolds, surface and subsea gate valves, chokes, check valves, frac and flowline equipment, and related pressure\-containing components.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**

· Reviews customer inquiries, drawings, RFP/RFQs, specifications, and purchase orders to determine technical and commercial requirements.

· Prepares accurate and timely quotations for standard and custom products in accordance with customer requirements and company procedures.

· Recommends appropriate product solutions based on API pressure ratings, service conditions, materials, trim, end connections, and application needs.

· Provides technical support to customers regarding product selection, equipment capabilities, and applicable API requirements.

· Coordinates with engineering, manufacturing, and quality to confirm design feasibility, documentation requirements, material availability, and lead times.

· Interprets customer drawings, specifications, and datasheets to support quotation preparation, order entry, and order review.

· Supports sales order execution by clarifying scope, resolving technical questions, and communicating changes to internal departments.

· Serves as a liaison between customer, engineering, quality, and production to help ensure accurate and timely fulfillment of orders.

· Maintains quotation files, customer communications, pricing data, and order information in company systems.

· Follow up on quotations, customer requests, and open opportunities as directed by management.

· Supports outside sales personnel, customer visits, and internal meetings with technical product knowledge and applications assistance.

· Adheres to and complies with company quality system requirements, safety policies, and applicable state and federal laws.

· Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.

**QUALIFICATIONS**

· Minimum 3 to 7 years of experience in oil and gas equipment sales, applications engineering, inside sales, and/or related technical support.

· Working knowledge of API 6A, API 16A, API 16C and API\-17D products, standards, and terminology.

· Understanding of manifolds, gate valves, manual and adjustable chokes, check valves, flowline equipment, drilling spools, flanges, and wellhead/pressure control equipment.

· Ability to read and interpret customer specifications, engineering drawings, datasheets, bill of materials, and purchase orders.

· Knowledge of API requirements, including, pressure classes, material classes, temperature classes, PSL and PR requirements, trim selections, and end connections.

· Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interface effectively with customers, vendors, and internal departments.

· Strong organizational skills with the ability to coordinate multiple quotations, orders, and priorities simultaneously.

· Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and ERP/MRP systems, AutoCad, and Solidworks.

· Bachelor’s degree in engineering required.

**PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS**

· Experience with API\-6A wellhead, frac, drilling, and flow\-control equipment manufacturing processes.

· Experience preparing technical and commercial quotations for standard and custom equipment.

· Familiarity with material test reports, hydrotest requirements, inspection documentation, and quality record packages.

· Understanding of machining processes, lead times, and order planning.
