Job Description

**TL;DR**

* Own the operational backbone of Breaker's Austin office. Travel, purchasing, onboarding, events, merch, and everything that keeps the team running.
* You're creative and comfortable in Canva or Figma. Working with the founders to generate slides, graphics, documents, social posts, website edits and the occasional merch drop.
* Startup experience and a can\-do attitude matter as much as your credentials.
* Austin\-based, in the office every day.

**About Breaker**
-----------------

*The way humans use robots is broken.*

Modern problems demand more robots than we have operators. Every drone, ground vehicle, and maritime system requires dedicated training, manual control, and constant oversight. One operator per robot. One pilot per mission.

*Breaker's AI agent breaks this constraint.*

Our technology turns any robot into a truly autonomous, self\-organizing teammate. Operators command and query teams of robots through natural language conversations over the push\-to\-talk radios they already carry, no laptops, no controllers, no additional gear.

Instead of manually flying search patterns across three different screens, you say, "survey this area and flag anything unusual." The robot team figures out how to divide the task, coordinate their movements, and report back what matters.

*We're fundamentally changing the operator\-to\-robot ratio. Small teams become force multipliers.*

Our software deploys directly onboard each robot, enabling real\-time, intent\-driven control even in contested environments with limited bandwidth. We're solving problems most AI companies never touch: sub\-second inference on edge hardware with strict latency, power, and connectivity constraints.

We're backed by some of the best investors globally and growing our team across Austin, Texas, and Sydney, Australia. We're a small team of experienced engineers moving fast on technology that will define how humans and machines work together for decades to come.

*Join us if you want to help build the robots we were promised*

**About the Role**
------------------

Breaker's Austin office is growing, and the smooth running of day\-to\-day operations is invaluable. This role owns that layer, keeping the office running, the team moving, and the operational detail that lets everyone else focus on building.

You'll keep the Austin office at full capacity: organizing travel, co\-ordinating purchasing, onboarding new candidates, planning events and supporting the team. Flights are booked, new hires are set up, the office is stocked. The team never has to think about any of it. You are a naturally creative person who collaborates closely with the founders to drive Breaker's high brand standards into every part of the business. Decks, social content, merch, event materials, team photos. The creative output that shapes how the company shows up internally and externally.

You have tools you're comfortable in and things you've made that you're happy to show. It doesn't need to be a formal portfolio, but there should be something. Culture and vibe aren't soft words at Breaker. We want someone who genuinely cares about the people around them and shows it.

**Key Responsibilities**
------------------------

* Keep the Austin office running: supplies, facilities, equipment, and the ambient operational readiness that makes a team feel like it's in good hands.
* Coordinate travel and accommodation for the Austin team across domestic and international trips.
* Manage purchasing operations: execute procurement, track spending, file receipts, and ensure equipment gets to where it needs to be
* Own new hire onboarding operations \- pre\-arrival comms, equipment prep, and being the friendly first point of contact on day one
* Plan and execute team events and company culture moments: office events, external meetups, merch drops, and anything that keeps the team energised
* Support Breaker's marketing output where your skills allow: social content, website updates, collateral, and internal comms
* Support external engagement as needed \- coordinating documentation, scheduling, and follow\-ups for partner and customer interactions

**About You**
-------------

**Required Skills and Experience**

* Prior operations experience: office management, operations coordination, or a similar role where you owned a broad and varied workload.
* Organized with a natural instinct for good process. You maintain clear systems, follow through without prompting, and keep every ball in the air.
* Thrives in an environment where priorities shift, scope is ambiguous, and initiative is rewarded.
* A creative eye and the tools to back it up. Hands\-on experience with Canva, Figma, or Adobe Creative Suite and a body of work you can point to.
* Startup experience, or a clear appetite for the pace and growth that comes with it.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Driver's licence.
* Based in Austin and available to work full time in office.
