Job Description

**Position Summary**
Responsible for maintenance, engineering, condition monitoring and managing projects to enhance equipment safety and reliability.
**Responsibilities**

* Perform the design, specifications, repairment, replacement of General purpose turbines, Special purpose turbines, centrifugal pumps, multistage centrifugal pumps, axial compressors,


and centrifugal compressors.
* Perform and assess diagnostics of rotating machinery including vibration, performance, oil analysis.
* Develop reliability strategies for rotating machinery.
* Own the rotating machinery predictive maintenance strategy.
* Perform root cause analysis of failed rotating machinery.
* Participate in process safety activities as it relates to rotating machinery.
* Will be working outdoors in all weather conditions, as required.
* Be on call and work nights and weekends, as required
**Qualifications**
**Education, Experience, and/or Training*** Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, and 7 years of experience in related chemical manufacturing or oil \& gas industry.
* Must have 2 years of experience in vibrations analysis (system 1\), including analyzing vibration data and troubleshooting.
* Must have 1 year of experience in lube oil analysis, including analyzing data and making maintenance recommendations.
* Must have 1 year of experience in preventative maintenance, including maintaining and developing preventative maintenance plans and measuring the effectiveness of the program.
* Must have 1 year of experience in failure analysis, including reviewing equipment failures and making recommendations to improve reliability.
**Security Clearance Requirements**
* Must be eligible to obtain Transportation Workers Identification Credential (TWIC).

**Work Schedule*** Full time employment, Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week.
**Travel*** Must be willing and able to travel up to 10% of the time for domestic travel within the U.S. or within the domestic U.S. Gulf Coast region.
