Job Description
***Build Real Robots. Not Just Code.***
DAC Robotics is looking for a **Fanuc Robot Programmer / Robotics Engineer** who enjoys building real automation systems — not just writing code in isolation.
Our engineers work directly on the **design, programming, integration, and deployment of robotic systems** used in production environments across multiple industries.
This role is ideal for engineers who enjoy **building machines, solving real\-world problems, and seeing their work running on the factory floor.**
Travel for system commissioning and support is typically **10–20%**.
Ideal backgrounds include engineers from **robotics integrators, automation companies, or machine builders.**
**What You'll Work On**
You will program and integrate **Fanuc robots** in automation systems that range from traditional manufacturing automation to advanced robotic platforms incorporating modern sensing and software technologies.
Projects vary widely and may include:
* Robotic machine tending systems
* Conveyor and material handling automation
* Vision\-guided robotic systems
* Robotic assembly and processing systems
* High\-throughput production automation platforms
Many systems integrate technologies such as:
* Machine vision and 3D cameras
* LiDAR and advanced sensing
* PLC\-controlled automation systems
* Linux\-based software environments
* Python\-based software and automation tools
**What You'll Do**
* Program, test, and deploy **Fanuc robots**
* Develop structured and maintainable robot programming architecture

* Implement and tune **Fanuc iRVision**
* Collaborate with mechanical and electrical engineers for full system integration
* Participate in **End\-of\-Arm Tooling (EOAT)** design and refinement
* Support **system commissioning, troubleshooting, and upgrades**
* Provide **customer training and technical support**
* Document programming standards and system functionality
**What We're Looking For**
* **2\+ years of Fanuc robot programming experience** (5\+ preferred)
* Experience integrating robots with **PLC\-controlled automation systems**
* Familiarity with **Roboguide simulation**
* Strong troubleshooting and system\-integration skills
* Ability to collaborate across mechanical, electrical, and software disciplines
* Comfortable working directly with customers during system installation
* **U.S. citizenship required (ITAR regulations)**
**Bonus Experience (Nice to Have)**
* **Fanuc iRVision**
* PLC programming (Allen\-Bradley or Siemens)
* Machine vision (Cognex, Keyence)
* Python or Linux environments
* Industrial networking
* **SolidWorks or mechanical design experience**
