Sunoco LP is a leading energy infrastructure and fuel distribution master limited partnership operating across 47 U.S. states, Puerto Rico, Europe, and Mexico. The Partnership's midstream operations include an extensive network of approximately 9,500 miles of pipeline and over 100 terminals. This critical infrastructure complements the Partnership's fuel distribution operations, which serve approximately 10,000 convenience stores, independent dealers, commercial customers, and distributors.

**Major Accountabilities:**

* Works independently or with management and/or Project Engineers to develop project scope/design solutions, cost estimates, AFEs, specify/procure materials/services, and performs cost tracking/forecasting/progress reporting duties.
* Monitors project scheduling, improves on it when possible, and troubleshoots for possible oversights.
* Performs status reporting for assigned projects; manages multiple projects simultaneously within a managed budget and execution schedule.
* Manages project construction activities including but not limited to planning, scheduling, constructing, monitoring, forecasting, and cost control; leads construction kickoff meetings and other construction meetings as necessary.
* Ensures construction quality and completeness per design; conducts detailed review of engineering project documents for constructability, feasibility, and maintainability prior to construction.
* Plans and coordinates closely with regional personnel to ensure project field activities have minimal impact to system operations from the start of construction through commissioning/startup; minimizes costs and disruptions to assigned facilities caused by construction activity.
* Assists Project Engineers in construction efficiencies including contractor selection and new technology.
* Prepares construction department safety standards reports and conducts safety audits to ensure safety is the first and foremost duty of every employee on the project; may supervise issuance of work permits to contractors for safe work conditions.
* Implements safety standards and procedures during construction, ensuring all activities are completed with a TRIR of .5 or less.
* Executes the construction of projects within budget and tracks construction change orders for engineering approval; controls and minimizes field change orders; and ensures procedural compliance.
* Reviews, approves and maintains field change order requests and other required contractor documentation.
* Ensures correctness of any materials and/or procedures being used; ensures use of good engineering practices throughout construction phase, including control and coordination of field QC activities.
* Acts as a liaison between Operations and Project organizations for smooth and timely project execution; works closely with Operations and Maintenance for an organized, controlled, cost effective, complete, and successful project startup and turnover.
* Establishes and supervises punch list procedures and schedule, including the coordination of the Pre\-Startup Safety Review (PSSR).
* Supervises and provides directions to contract construction inspection personnel and contractors as needed to ensure projects are executed in accordance with Sunoco safety policies and procedures, design and construction quality standards, documentation requirements, schedule objectives, and budget limits.
* Provides company\-wide technical support, education, and continuous improvement leadership on all assigned projects.
* Other duties as assigned.
